Among the major trekking destinations in Nepal, Everest region (also called Khumbu region) comes in the rank of first and foremost position. It is because of the high snow-capped mountains including Mt. Everest (the top of the world) and their enchanting, eye-catching, breathtaking and fascinating sceneries. Only this is not enough reason but the unique culture, tradition and lifestyle of local people of Khumbu and the ancient monasteries are also the reason people go to visit in Khumbu region. High glacier, lakes, endangered animals, beautiful flowers including rhododendron, beautiful landscapes welcoming hospitalities attracts tourist to visit Everest region. The whole region is dominated by Sherpa, one of the tribes in Nepal. They are originated from the east of Tibet. So the word derived from the Tibetan word “Shar-East” and “Pa-People”. 
There are several different destinations within Everest region namely, Everest Base Camp, Chola Pass, Three Pass, Everest Panorama, Everest Comfort. Every destination has own specialty and better one after another. The common point of them is Namche Bazaar, where every individual has to stop and pass through. Nepal is the country of multidestination. Once someone completes the trip in Everest region, s/he wants to explore Annapurna Region. In summary, to trek in Everest region offers you to visit the homeland of the Sherpa people, isolated monasteries, and the chance to get close to the highest mountain in the world and of course, once is not enough to travel in Everest region and in Nepal.
